KILDARE SOUTH AREA

The Dail Constituency of Kildare South is a three seat constituency taking in the main towns of Newbridge, Athy, Kildare, Monasterevin, Kilcullen, Castledermot, Ballymore Eustace, Rathangan, Caragh and Two Mile House as well as a large rural area.

It has a total electorate of just over 60,000 and is currently represented by Martin Heydon TD Fine Gael, Sean O'Fearghail TD FF, and Jack Wall TD Labour.

Kildare South Fine Gael Branches

The branch is the basic structure within Fine Gael and provides a link between the party and the community. Within Kildare South, Fine Gael has 11 branches which operate in their communities, providing support to local groups and organisations and liaising with our public representatives. They are Athy, Ballymore Eustace, Ballytore, Caragh, Castledermot, Kilcullen, Kildare, Monasterevin, Newbridge, Rathangan and Suncroft.

Our main office in Kildare South is Martin Heydon's Constituency Office on Moorefield Road, beside the credit union.

It is open Mon – Fri from 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm - 4.30pm or alternatively by appointment at 045-487624.

Register to Vote

It is important that everyone over the age of 18 is registered to vote. The register for 2012 is currently being compiled and it is important to check that you are included at www.checktheregister.ie

If you are not included and believe you should be, please contact our office in Newbridge on 045-487 624 to obtain the relevant form.

You can also check the register at your local library or garda station or at Kildare County Council website www.kildarecoco.ie.
